What this tool does

Move a manual box over an area you want to obscure, then choose blur or pixelation. Only that box changes. This is not automatic identity-data detection, and a weak effect may leave information readable.

Each input is limited to 25 MB and 16,000 pixels per side; inputs together must fit 50 megapixels. Output also fits 50 megapixels and 16,000 pixels per side. One job has 40 seconds. Files use the existing scanner, queue and automatic deletion. Check your latest notice before preparing an application image.

Common questions

Will it find all ID numbers?

No. You draw one box. Check for other visible identifiers and any embedded metadata separately.

Is blur guaranteed redaction?

No. Blur or pixelation may leave clues. For strict removal, use a workflow that removes or covers the sensitive content.

Does the original outside the box change?

The effect is limited to your box. Export re-encodes the whole image and strips embedded metadata.
