What this tool does

Rewrite the PDF using grayscale color conversion. This can simplify black-and-white printing but does not guarantee a smaller file. Rewriting may change interactive features or color management.

Inputs are up to 25 MB each, subject to the existing plan page limit. Text input is up to 500 KB. Jobs have a 90-second processing deadline and a 128 MB output budget. Existing upload checks, virus scan, queue and automatic deletion apply. Changed PDFs lose valid digital signatures.

Common questions

Will red and green categories remain distinguishable?

Not always. Similar brightness can become similar gray, so check charts manually.

Will the PDF become smaller?

It may, but the output can also grow after rewriting.

Does this turn the page into a scan?

The PDF is rewritten, not deliberately rasterized. Some features can still change.
