What we collect

Account data: your email address, workspace name and team roles.

API waitlist details (email and optional name, company, intended use and expected monthly documents) are kept only to tell you about the API launch and are deleted on request.

Usage data: for each API request we record the time, endpoint, status, credits used and duration. We do not record request bodies or file contents in logs.

Website tool usage: when a free tool runs we record which tool it was, whether it worked, how long it took, the file size and space saved, the page and language, and whether it ran on a phone or a computer. These records contain no name, email, IP address, file name or file contents, and are deleted after 13 months.

Network data: IP addresses are used for rate limiting and abuse prevention and are stored only as one-way hashes.

Documents you process

Files you upload and documents we generate are deleted automatically after one hour by default. You can shorten this to zero per API key. For QR verification we keep only a fingerprint (hash) of the document and its metadata unless you ask us to store the document.

If you choose to attach a file when you report a problem, it is kept in India for up to 7 days so our team can look into it, then deleted. Only the MoharDocs team can open it.

When a bank statement does not convert fully, we keep only its layout so we can support that bank: where the words sit on the page and the column headings. Every letter and number is replaced (names become “xxxx”, numbers “9999”, dates and amounts made-up ones), so nothing about you or your money is kept.

Where data is kept

Your files and documents, and your account records, are processed and stored only in India. We do not send document contents to overseas PDF, image or OCR processing services.

Emails we send you (sign-in codes, replies to your messages) are delivered by our email provider, which may handle them outside India.

Who we share with

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for email delivery and payments (Razorpay) only to provide the service.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your account data at any time by writing to support@mohardocs.com.
