What this tool does

Merge supported form and annotation appearances into page content and remove interactive fields/annotations. This is useful when the visible filled form must print consistently. Review unsupported appearances before using the result.

Inputs are up to 25 MB each, subject to the existing plan page limit. Text input is up to 500 KB. Jobs have a 90-second processing deadline and a 128 MB output budget. Existing upload checks, virus scan, queue and automatic deletion apply. Changed PDFs lose valid digital signatures.

Common questions

Can I edit the fields afterward?

Not as interactive form fields. Keep the original if you need further edits.

Does flattening prevent all editing?

No. A PDF editor may still modify static page content. Flattening is not access control.

Will every annotation look identical?

Unsupported or missing appearances can differ or be absent. Review the output; flattening is not a visual guarantee.
