Common questions
Does 300 DPI make a small photo sharper?
No. A density tag cannot recover missing pixels or detail.
Why is DPI sometimes unknown?
Many web images have no physical-density units. The viewer reports unknown instead of claiming 72 or 96 DPI as a fact.
How are centimetres converted?
Pixels per centimetre are multiplied by 2.54 to report pixels per inch.
