What this tool does

Extract embedded raster images as PNG assets. This differs from making a screenshot of each page: vector diagrams and ordinary text may contain no extractable raster image. Masks can appear as separate assets.

Inputs are up to 25 MB each, subject to the existing plan page limit. Text input is up to 500 KB. Jobs have a 90-second processing deadline and a 128 MB output budget. Existing upload checks, virus scan, queue and automatic deletion apply. Changed PDFs lose valid digital signatures.

Common questions

Why were no images found?

The PDF may use text and vector drawing rather than embedded raster images.

Are soft masks combined automatically?

No. Some masks are separate outputs; inspect their relation to the extracted image.

How many images can I extract?

Up to 200 assets, together within 50 megapixels and the output budget.
