Compress a web image to 100 KB

For web cards and avatars that accept WebP, a 100 KB budget can preserve transparency without the white background of JPEG. This preset chooses WebP; application portals may require JPEG instead.

Up to 25 MB per file

1

Confirm the destination accepts WebP, then choose the original.

2

Keep WebP and the 100 KB maximum.

3

Inspect transparent edges and read the achieved size.

WebP compatibility depends on the destination. A file under 100 KB can still have the wrong dimensions. The compressor stops at its quality/resolution floor and reports missed targets.

Files are processed in India, virus-scanned, and deleted automatically after one hour.

Common questions

Why does this preset use WebP?

It supports transparency and lossy compression for web images. Choose JPEG in the main tool when your destination requires it.

Will it fit my avatar box?

Only the byte budget is set here. Crop to the required ratio or resize to the required pixels separately.

Does it preserve transparent edges?

WebP retains alpha transparency. Check fine edges in the preview because colour quality and dimensions may decrease.
